Reborn

Despite some adverse conditions, AQFH 3 it’s again available to those who love quests and adventures.

Although it has some fierce battle sequences, AQFH 3 it’s not a “kill them all” mod… although it has many puzzles, it’s not a brain squeezing mod…
Most certainly you will ask – “So what it is after all?! “…
It all above AND an excellent story, because I believe that the story is what make the AQFH series so thrilling and enjoyable ( maybe I’m wrong, I’m just a normal guy…).

As Firelady intended and I try to continue along this path, to create a credible story, able to sustain by it self, to create a logic and credible universe where strange and gripping stories could be told… with the support of stunning visuals and music.

Maybe you will ask “Why only for Fallout 3 ?”… because the Fallout 3 universe is more versatile, because is more grim and tragic than New Vegas ( personally I consider FNV more like a cowboy story than a post apocalyptic world… but that’s just me).
Because in Fallout 3 you could use a more dramatic and human approach than FNV… after all it about a world devastated by a nuclear war.

That’s why AQFH series DON’T have support for TTW… period. If someone want to port AQFH series to TTW, fine by me, but don’t ask for support.
And here I want to talk about an aspect of the human nature…

Courtesy!

There is a Russian version of the AQFH, a super mod, gathering episodes 1 and 2 and episode 3 demo… have SOMEONE send a courtesy email to announce this?!
Same for TTW… have SOMEONE send a courtesy email to talk about this?!

It’s the same problem that was on ( cross fingers! ) Nexus, a lot of people DEMANDING help but few of those demanders actually endorsing the mods…
Nor Firelady or me have begged for votes ( like so many others)… but is a common sense reason, if you want quality content for free, at least show your appreciation… somehow.

Speaking of which ( see above the cross fingers), they needed 4 (!!!) years to implement a so called endorsing reminder… of course that’s entirely optional… :)… what do you expect?!

After all, they doing big money from other work so why not throwing some dust in fools eyes? For those who knows how to rub two bucks from the Internet, just think about how many traffic they have, how many views and clicks, how many “members” who pay to be member… but that’s not a subject to be talked here… 🙂

Just a quick thought for those who use the brain… WHY you need a DEDICATED mod manager when we already HAD one? And it’s CLEAN and DON’t send all kind of stuff over the Internet…

Anyway… for the near future is scheduled a DLC for AQFH 3, “Codename Icarus” who will make the connection with the final part of this series AQFH 4 – The Iron Dream.
Both are WIP, “Codename Icarus” deadline is situated in December 2014 as for “The Iron Dream” the most optimistic deadline is somewhere in May 2015.
If I’m still alive till then… 🙂

  1. You have no idea how happy I am to see that this mod isn’t going to die. I still can’t believe this whole mess with nexus. It’s their loss. The AQFH series has been in the 10 ten for most endorsed and downloaded for how long now?

  2. Is Codename Icarus or AQFH 4 going to feature that underground survival facility called Brazil? Also are there going to be any pre war survivors in cryostasis u can wake up or are they always gonna turn up dead like in the other chapters? Epic mod btw, I endorsed all of them on Nexus!

    • This is simply awesome. I don’t know how you manage to create such a great game (it is definitely more than a mod, or DLC – compared to this, Fallout 3 looks like just a simple game engine to build upon), but congratulations!

I just hope that enough of us will spread a word about this mod lore, because it is a must that enough people catch up on this. This is best modification, for any game, ever made – and I played a lot. Hell, I think Bethesda should hire you, give you resources, time and space – they could just sit back and enjoy. If they have half-brain, that is…

As for Nexus, they turned away a more than few quality modders with their policies. While I understand them, they are forgetting that they exist for modders, and not other way around. I hope, for their sake, that they will get their heads out of assess on time, because this way everybody lose. Maybe it is time for modders to organize into some kind of competiton, eh? 🙂

      Anyway, congratulations once more!

P.S. I do have a complaint, though. You do know that you completely ruined F3/FNV experience for me (and many other), do you?
